Equine spa treatments for horse injuries

We provide equine spa treatments by experienced operators at the rate of £40.00 per treatment, or a spa package of 6 treatments for £200.00.

Horses can be brought in daily or can make a reservation for either weekends, weekly,fortnightly or longer if necessary, when longer treatment is needed.

When horses require a lenghtly stay at our facility, we offer the horses, 24hour much needed supervision to prevent any further problems to your valuable and loved horses, with a tailored programme to suit your horses needs.

We treat our horses to the Equine Spa daily, as part of our schedule. But we also welcome equine clients who just want to use the spa service.

The TheraPlate

The theraPlate is well used over in the US for its help with the rehabilitation of injured horses.

Therefore, East durham equine decided to invest in the piece of kit and is now available along with the ECB spa for treatment.

Using patented vortex wave circulation, the theraplate causes the motors to move in a continuous circular motion NOT in a one directional movement, meaning the theraPlate is not concussive.

The TheraPlate is used to work with multiple injuries and preventatives, such as:

The Solarium

The solarium uses short-wave infrared heat this is the same heat produced by the sun only without the harmful UV rays.

The infrared heat increases the metabolic activity of cells resulting in capillary dilation, this in turn increases blood flow through the body bringing oxygen and nutrients to the cells, the increased circulation also improves muscle elasticity, which helps in the reduction of injuries and can speeds up the recovery process.
